Resumo: The work tried to understand how the financing of men’s soccer teams of ‘várzea’ formed in a leisure circuit occurs. It was a qualitative study based on participant observation, developed between 2018 and 2020. 25 field diaries were produced and analyzed. An emerging data analytical exercise was developed. We conclude that financing involves articulation and overlapping of four investment modes, which produces a margin for negotiations and everyday inventions.

Se trata de un estudio cualitativo basado en la observación participante, desarrollado entre 2018 y 2020. Se elaboraron y analizaron 25 diarios de campo. Se desarrolló un ejercicio de análisis de datos emergente. Concluimos que el financiamiento implica la articulación y superposición de cuatro modos de inversión, lo que genera un margen para negociaciones e invenciones cotidianas.O trabalho procurou compreender como ocorre o financiamento de times de futebol de várzea constituídos num circuito de lazer. Tratou-se de um estudo qualitativo baseado em observação participante, desenvolvido nos anos de 2019 e 2020. Foram produzidos e analisados 25 diários de campo, além de documentos. Foi realizado um exercício analítico emergente dos dados.
