Resumo: When I received this invitation to write a text to compose the special edition of the Farol - Journal of Organization Studies and Society in honor of Professor José Henrique de Faria, I tried to transmit some reasons why the thought and the person of this professor and researcher were and are so important for my constitution as a human being, discussing three remarkable and completely related characteristics of his person, work and trajectory: teaching, political militancy and his thought. Later, before the final considerations, I discuss how I see the possibility of dialogues and conversations with the Political Economy of Power, as well as its contributions from the point of view of discourse and language, from a perspective inspired, above all, by Deleuzian philosophy.
