Resumo: This current dissertation has a purpose to understand how the so-called “prudential knowledge” - experiences and knowledge accumulated over years of professional activity - of civil construction workers can contribute to the reduction of accidents in the field. Although the legislation advocates the use of personal protective equipment and work safety training, workers develop other forms of safety, using implicit knowledge, built throughout their working life and shared in the work environment...
