Resumo: This article refers to the quality of the textual information, more specifically in extensive documents, addressing the cohesion between text sections. In this sense, an approach was proposed and tested which integrates two technical resources: social network analysis and internal references. The methodology employed was participatory research, including cohesion analysis between 109 sections of an extensive document text developed by the actual researchers. The results have proved satisfactory in helping the researchers to identify points for improvement of cohesion between the various text units in the extensive document analyzed

Nesse sentido, foi proposta e testada uma abordagem que integra dois recursos técnicos: análise de redes sociais e referências internas. A metodologia empregada foi a pesquisa participante, abrangendo a análise da coesão entre 109 seções de textos de um documento extenso em desenvolvimento pelos próprios pesquisadores.
