Resumo: Producing quality passion fruit seedlings is of fundamental importance to enable the successful implantation of the crop, for this it is necessary that they are healthy and vigorous. The objective of the work was to evaluate the development of yellow passion fruit seedlings, submitted to different substrates and irrigation depths. The design was completely randomized (DIC), 5 x 3. The treatments consisted of 5 substrates (1-soil and commercial substrate, 2-soil and corral manure, 3-soil, commercial substrate and corral manure, 4- soil and 5- substrate), and 3 irrigation blades, blade 1: 70%, 2: 100% and 3: 130% of field capacity. Average germination time, germination speed index, height, stem diameter and number of leaves of each plot at 30 and 60 days after germination, green matter of the aerial part, dry matter of the aerial part, green matter of root and root dry matter at 60 days after germination. The treatment that presents the best response in the growth of yellow passion fruit seedlings was the soil + substrate composition, it does not modify any influence of the different irrigation depths to which it was subjected, being able to be reduced by 30% of the field capacity.
