Over time, we can see an increase in atmospheric pollution, through fires, an increase in the car industry, which releases various pollutants into the atmosphere, as well as natural sources of pollution such as dust from the earth and volcanoes. The objective of this work is to understand the impact of atmospheric pollutants on respiratory diseases, such as suspended particles, nitrogen oxides, sulfates and ozone, among others, through bibliometric laws, analyzing the authors in terms of productivity, number of journals in relation to the topic and the frequency of use of keywords in a text of journals indexed between 2017 and 2021. Using computational resources such as electronic spreadsheets and software for textual analysis. The search totaled 5788 articles for analysis, which were pre-processed and analyzed. This research can identify the relationship of some pollutants that are more evident in air pollution such as particulate matter, among others, which is highly harmful to respiratory health and can even lead to death, especially in children and the elderly.
