This study provides insights about the formation of new mines in the municipality of Poxoréu in Mato Grosso, through the Office of Lapidary of semiprecious stones, activity recently developed at the initiative of the Municipality of Poxoréu through the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Industry and Mining, in partnership with SEBRAE - Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises in the State of Mato Grosso. The project, developed in 2008, implemented in 2009, is based on the principle of joint, inter-institutional cooperation and with intent to employability and income of workers in the socioeconomic reality of the old mine and the low-income families, this activity brings requirements action socially just, environmentally appropriate and economically viable. To understand the formation of new mines, we refer to the socio-historical context of the design of mining in the municipality of Poxoréu past marked by different constituent elements, such as the migratory process of colonization driven by comprised of diamond extraction varied cultures, and economic factors social poxoreense population from the time frame in different periods of history in brief stops characterized by social and economic dynamics of diamond extraction reaching the peak of its production to decay in the context of mining with the current situation in the periods 1920 to 2012 . We start the discussion of the colonial neoliberal thought and its effects on society. The reflection suggests the need to understand the movement of history, unveiling the role of the state in the face of intense frame of contemporary socio-economic needs, particularly in view of the new mining involving workers. We intend this study to reveal how public policies operate and guarantee rights to the people in this new context of legal and sustainable action on the paradigm of extraction and use of natural resources. In the current scenario we encounter other paradigms to identify the place of women, as well as the juvenile population with evidence of sexual exploitation, constant practice in prospecting regions. Factor not evidenced in the new mines, with the format that it entails, but identified in the research through the Guardian Council, as a major problem faced by the municipality, where the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is linked to the drug. The methodology of this study is based on bibliographic sources and documentary field, empirical and oral. We use instruments such as structured interview and photographic collections of the municipality of Poxoréu. A Dissertation presented in Sections highlighted in the approaches of the socio-historical path and the constitution of the prospecting and mining activities in the municipality of Poxoréu, as well as the participation of men, women and children in the world of mining shown from the relationship of gender and sexuality. Finally, the paradigm of the new mining prospecting, their mode of production and impact in the lives of men and women in society poxoreense, the participation of those involved directly in the production of workshops stoning revealing the new mining in Poxoréu as a new proposal vocation with socioeconomic income generation and reuse of discarded gems in diamond mining extraction. The new mining permits socioeconomic growth boosted in the process of stoning.
