Resumo: | Understanding the behavior of nanoparticles of platinum and graphene oxide is critical for application in surgical caps. Cardiac surgeries are characterized by being invasive and take a long time for a complete recovery, which makes it interesting to develop films incorporated with platinum nanoparticles (PtNPs) or graphene oxide (GO), as these produce electronic impulse conduction be a viable alternative that instantly repairs the site of the injury. With this, it was purpose to develop a composite containing platinum or graphene oxide polymers and nanoparticles for use in surgical caps. PtNPs were produced from hexachloro platinic acid, previously synthesized and characterized. The films were produced using polycaprolactone (PCL) and poly (L-lactic acid) (PLA) polymers, with different types of chloroform and acetone concentration (1:1 and 1,5:1), and finally electroplating for the production of homogeneous fibers. The PtNPs were introduced into the polymers prior to electrowinning with two different compositions. To obtain films with rGO (reduced graphene oxide), the films were immersed in solution water and graphene oxide, with different concentrations. Reduction of rGO was realized using ascorbic acid under agitation for three hours. Both blends showed characteristic peaks of both PCL and PLA, in XRD and Raman, already at 1,5:1 presented a better mechanical characteristic. The DRX showed characteristic peaks of platinum and PtNPs, the SEM showed the formation of nanorods with a size of approximately 25 nm. The films with PtNPs presented well defined fibers and incorporated, whereas the films containing rGO presented a more homogenous film. The blends, independent of solvent composition, exhibit electronic conductivities characteristic of an insulating material, the addition of platinum nanoparticles and reduced graphene oxide increase the conductivity. The blends with the addition of Pt and rGO nanoparticles have conductivities of the order of 6.3 x 10-2 and 3.8 x 10-2 mS m -1, respectively. The film with higher amount of PtNPs and higher concentration of rGO, in the same film, showed better cell viability. |

Submitted by ROSIELI LEMOS WOLPATO (rosieli.wolpato@ufn.edu.br) on 2019-11-13T13:39:53Z No. of bitstreams: 2 Dissertacao_LaillaDaiannaSoltauMissioPinheiro.pdf: 3461226 bytes, checksum: 1ea0259997a1caf3285143fadc66f664 (MD5) license_rdf: 0 bytes, checksum: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2019-11-13T13:39:53Z (GMT).
