Departamento de Matemática, Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Biológicas, Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto.Neste trabalho apresentaremos uma breve introdução sobre a história da evolução no conceito de integral e resultados importantes sobre a Teoria de Integração. Introduziremos a definição formal do conceito de Integral, segundo Riemann e suas propriedades, além da definição de funções Riemann Integráveis. Posteriormente, mostraremos a definição e propriedades da integral de Darboux, extendendo, essa ideia ao critério de integrabilidade de Lebesgue e finalizando com o conceito de de integral generalizada de Riemann. Neste trabalho apresentaremos integral de Riemann generalizada que nos permitirá, de forma alternativa a usual, abordar o conceito de integral de Lebesgue. Nesta apresentação não necessitamos da construção da teoria de medida, ou seja, trata-se de uma abordagem diferente daquela que se estuda nos cursos de cálculo e análise.In this work we will present a brief introduction about the history of evolution in the concept of integral and important results on the Theory of Integration. We will introduce the formal definition of the Integral concept, according to Riemann and its properties, in addition to the definition of integrable Riemann functions.
