Resumo: This article intended to disseminate the first analyzes and impressions regarding the constitution and initial trajectory of the Graduate Program in Education of the Universidade Federal da Paraíba (PPGE/UFPB), in favor of Popular Education, between 1977 and 1994. Fulfilling this intention, the following questions were asked: what do historical sources reveal about the Program? What are the first impressions about the identity and social place of the institution, between 1977 and 1994? Why celebrate and remember the initial trajectory of the PPGE/UFPB? From this perspective, bibliographical research and analysis of written memories of historical sources were used as methodology: CONSEPE's Resolution 47º/1977, the Selection Map (profile of candidates) from 1987 to 1994 and the commemorative book marking the 30th anniversary of the Program, dialoguing with Lampert (2000), Saviani (2008), Ferreira (2012), among other authors. As a result, the frame mobilization of the Program in the survey of sources and reflections about the limits of the acts of celebration and remembrance in the celebrative work and in the writing of the first impressions about the History and Memories of the PPGE/UFPB was evidenced.

Para cumplir tal intención, las siguientes cuestiones se les preguntó: ¿qué revelan las fuentes históricas sobre el Programa? ¿Cuáles son las primeras impresiones sobre la identidad y el lugar social de la institución, entre 1977 y 1994? ¿Por qué celebrar y recordar la trayectoria inicial del PPGE/UFPB? En esta perspectiva, se utilizó como metodología la investigación bibliográfica y el análisis de memorias escritas de fuentes históricas: la Resolución del CONSEPE 47º/1977, el Mapa de Selección (perfil de candidatos) de 1987 a 1994 y el libro conmemorativo del 30º aniversario del Programa, dialogando con Lampert (2000), Saviani (2008), Ferreira (2012), entre otros autores. Como resultado, se evidenció la movilización del cuerpo del Programa en el relevamiento de fuentes y reflexiones entre los límites de los actos de conmemoración y rememoración en el trabajo celebrativo y en la redacción de las primeras impresiones sobre la Historia y Memorias del PPGE/UFPB.Este artigo pretendeu difundir as primeiras análises e impressões em relação à constituição e à trajetória inicial do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (PPGE/UFPB), em favor da Educação Popular, entre 1977 e 1994. Para cumprir tal intenção, recorreu-se aos seguintes questionamentos: o que as fontes históricas revelam sobre o programa? Quais são as primeiras impressões sobre a identidade e o lugar social da instituição, entre 1977 e 1994? Por que comemorar e rememorar a trajetória inicial do PPGE/UFPB? Nessa perspectiva, utilizou-se como metodologia a pesquisa bibliográfica e a análise sobre as memórias escritas de fontes históricas: a Resolução CONSEPE 47º/1977, o Mapa de Seleção (perfil dos candidatos) de 1987 a 1994 e o livro comemorativo de trinta anos do Programa, dialogando com Lampert (2000), Saviani (2008), Ferreira (2012), dentre outros autores.
