Meu objetivo é analisar o efeito da distribuição geográfica dos votos na proposição de leis particularista dos deputados federais das 51ª a 54ª legislaturas. Testo a hipótese de que as características de concentração e dominância tornam o deputado federal mais provável a propor projetos de cunho particularista. O mecanismo proposto é de que a proximidade com o eleitor e a consequente possibilidade de reclamar crédito fazem com que deputados com altas dominância e concentração eleitoral busquem mais benefícios direcionados às bases eleitorais. Na estratégia empírica, utilizo análise de conteúdo, estatística descritiva e multivariada para examinar um banco de dados original elaborado a partir de fontes secundárias (IBGE, CD e TSE). Na estratégia empírica, proponho a utilização de uma operacionalização simples para o particularismo legislativo, a variável dependente, que é operacionalizada através da identificação de palavras-chaves na indexação do projeto de lei. Além disso, utilizo o Índice G para operacionalizar a concentração eleitoral e o Índice de Carvalho (2003) para operacionalizar a dominância eleitoral. Os dados examinados fazem parte de um banco de dados original elaborado a partir de fontes secundárias. Emprego um modelo de regressão de Poisson com ajuste para dados truncados em zero. Os resultados rejeitam a principal hipótese do trabalho.CAPESWhat is the effect of the geographical pattern of voting on parliamentary legislative output? My objective is to analyze the effect of the geographical distribution of votes in the particularist proposition of federal deputies from the 51st to the 54th legislatures. I test the hypothesis that the characteristics of concentration and dominance make the federal deputy more likely to propose particularistic projects. The proposed mechanism is that the proximity to the voter and the consequent possibility of claiming credit means that deputies with high dominance and electoral concentration seek more benefits directed to the electoral bases. In the empirical strategy, I use content analysis, descriptive and multivariate statistics to examine an original database elaborated from secondary sources (IBGE, CD and TSE). In the empirical strategy, I propose the use of a simple operation for legislative particularism, the dependent variable, which is operationalized through the identification of keywords in the indexing of the bill. In addition, I use the G Index to operationalize electoral concentration and the Carvalho Index (2003) to operationalize electoral dominance. The data examined are part of an original database drawn from secondary sources. I use a Poisson regression model with fit for zero-truncated data.
