Resumo: The objective was to describe the nursing educational practices based on Madeleine Leininger’s Theory ofDiversity and Universality of Cultural Care, found in reports of professional experiences, published in national journals. Aqualitative systematic review was carried out, the sampling period covered the years from 1985 until march 2009. 47 articleswere found, and 10 of which addressed reports of educational practices. The articles were grouped by similarity andresulted in three categories: Women’s Health, Promotion of Quality of Life and Academic and Professional Practice inHealth. The group methodology was used in eight articles, although with different approaches. The other two articlesreported the use of observation, interviews and care actions by the nurse. The cultural perspective on educationalpractices promotes the exchange of knowledge and encourages individuals to seek their own solutions to health problems.

Se realizó revisión sistemática cualitativa, cuyo período de muestreo abarcó de enero de 1985 hasta marzo de2009. Se encontraron 47 artículos de los cuales 10 abordaban informes de prácticas educativas. Los artículos fueronagrupados por similitud y originaron tres categorías: Salud de la Mujer, Promoción de la Calidad de Vida, y PrácticaAcadémica y Profesional en Salud. La metodología de grupos se ha utilizado en ocho artículos, los cuales realizarondiferentes enfoques, mientras los otros dos utilizaron la observación, entrevistas y acciones de cuidado de la enfermera.La perspectiva cultural en las prácticas educativas favorece el intercambio de conocimientos y alienta a los individuos abuscar sus propias soluciones a los problemas de salud.Objetivou-se descrever as práticas educativas em enfermagem fundamentadas na Teoria da Diversidade eUniversalidade do Cuidado Cultural de Madeleine Leininger encontradas em relatos de vivências profissionais, publicadasem periódicos nacionais. Realizou-se revisão sistemática qualitativa, cujo período amostral abrangeu de janeiro de 1985 atémarço de 2009. Foram encontrados 47 artigos dos quais 10 abordavam relatos de práticas educativas. Os artigos foramagrupados por semelhança e originaram três categorias: Saúde das Mulheres, Promoção da Qualidade de Vida, e PráticaAcadêmica e Profissional em Saúde. A metodologia de grupos foi utilizada em oito artigos, os quais realizaram diferentesabordagens, enquanto os outros dois utilizaram a observação, entrevistas e ações de cuidado da enfermeira.
