Defesa : Curitiba, 02/12/2022Inclui referênciasÁrea de concentração: Estudos LiteráriosResumo: Estranhamento [Entfremdung] é um fenômeno da vida moderna analisado por Hegel e por Marx que consiste na experiência de fragmentação do mundo que leva o sujeito a uma perda de si ou renúncia subjetiva ao mesmo tempo em que a vida social e coletiva passa a ser percebida como um "eu autoconsciente" nas mãos do qual o sujeito não passa de um "joguete" [Spiel]. Alegorias são procedimentos poéticos especialmente comuns na literatura medieval e barroca, que tem nas prosopopeias suas figuras de linguagem preferenciais. A dialética entre personificação e despersonificação é comum tanto ao conceito filosófico de estranhamento quanto ao modo alegórico de composição poética. Quando Goethe termina de escrever o seu Fausto II, causa espécie entre os leitores a estrutura escancaradamente alegórica, vindo justamente de um dos poetas mais críticos das alegorias barrocas ao lado de Schiller, Humboldt entre outros. Alegorias do estranhamento são tentativas de interpretar a parte mais emblemática da tragédia de Goethe à luz da afinidade entre a fenomenologia crítica do poeta quanto ao fenômeno do estranhamento no mundo moderno e a o modo de composição alegórico, reabilitado em meados do século XIX entre as gerações de Goethe e BaudelaireAbstract: Estrangement [Entfremdung] is a phenomenon of modern life analysed by Hegel and Marx which consists in the experience of fragmentation of the world which leads the subject to a loss of itself or self-renunciation at the same time that social and collective life comes to be perceived as a "self-conscious I" in the hands of which the subject is nothing more than a plaything [Spiel]. Allegories are poetic procedures especially common in medieval and baroque literature, whose preferred figures of speech are the prosopopoeia. The dialectic between personification and depersonalisations common both to the philosophical concept of estrangement and to the allegorical mode of poetic composition. When Goethe finishes writing his Faust II, the blatantly allegorical structure causes amazement among readers, since it comes from one of the most critical poets of the baroque allegories alongside Schiller, Humboldt and others.
