Resumo: Given the lack of studies directed to individuals with Dandy Walker Syndrome and the important contribution of special education / inclusive to these students , the research sought to know this syndrome and the possibilities of specialized educational services . The Dandy Walker Syndrome is a congenital abnormality of the central nervous system that affects especially the cerebellum and the spaces filled with cerebrospinal fluid around it. This syndrome affects the overall development of the child. The methodology was qualitative and the procedures opted for literature , formed from the bibliographical study survey on the issue .

The methodology was qualitative and the procedures opted for literature , formed from the bibliographical study survey on the issue .Diante da escassez de estudos dirigidos aos indivíduos com Síndrome de Dandy Walker e da importante contribuição da educação especial/inclusiva a esses educandos, a pesquisa buscou conhecer essa Síndrome e as possibilidades de atendimento educacional especializado. A Síndrome de Dandy Walker é uma anomalia congênita do sistema nervoso central que compromete especialmente o cerebelo e os espaços cheios de líquido cerebrospinal em torno dele. Essa Síndrome compromete o desenvolvimento global da criança.
