The theme "The importance of playfulness and their contributions to Early Childhood Education" was chosen as the working conclusion of the Pedagogy course, because it is a very important matter that should be worked in the classroom contributes to the integral development of children enjoyable, interactive and creative way. It also contributes to the small express their feelings and use their imagination through play. In this way we realize the need of the teacher work the playful in kindergarten, because it takes the child to learn in a fun way the content and interact, thus enabling the development of their potential. This paper aims to clarify the relevance of the use of ludic methods by teachers promoting the development of children in their motor, social and cognitive skills. references have been used by various authors as Piaget (1962) Vygotsky (1998), Oliveira (2007), WALLON (1979), among others, in order to know the importance of using the playfulness in pedagogical practice and the benefits it brings to the child's learning. Therefore, this article makes some considerations about the importance of the play in early childhood education as a way to develop the skills and socialization of students in a pleasant way, thus contributing to a significant learning from the knowledge that the child already has, making conscious teachers and future teachers on the use of this method as significant.
