Resumo: This article presents a discussion of emergency remote teaching in the Early Years of Elementary School during the Covid-19 pandemic period. Therefore, we analyzed the Brazilian scientific productions, published between 2020 and 2021, on emergency remote teaching during the pandemic period, specifically: we systematized the teaching strategies used by teachers; we identified the obstacles faced and analyzed the favorable conditions in the period of emergency remote teaching. We carried out a qualitative research through a state of knowledge with publications from the CAPES Journal Portal and the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). After floating reading and excluding studies that did not refer to the topic, we selected eight publications. We found that teaching strategies were mainly supported by the use of WhatsApp, Google tools and printed handouts. The surveys revealed challenges related to the lack of technologies and internet, concentration and motivation of students and difficulties in interaction. There were difficulties faced for the teacher's work and for the support of parents and guardians in carrying out the activities. Despite these challenges, the pandemic with Covid-19 made it possible to unite the school community, different learning experiences and a greater bond with the students families.
