The use of petroleum fuels has resulted in high emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere. So over the years science has been researching increasingly on renewable fuels, called biofuels. Among them biodiesel, a substitution of alternative to diesel fuel made from vegetable oils and animal fats. Brazil is one of the world's biodiesel producers, thereby reducing the country's dependence on oil and improving the environment, this to be a biodegradable and nontoxic biofuel and reduce carbon monoxide emissions and other hydrocarbons . Display as biodiesel is important in the Brazilian economic scenario, your prospects and what the problems faced for its consolidation in the Brazilian energy matrix, are the objectives of this work.
