Unfortunately, failures in construction processes generate many technical and financial problems. Several pathological manifestations and additional recovery costs are some of these problems. This study conducted a case study on a construction project consisting of 220 onefloor houses with a structural masonry system, radier foundation, and precast slab. The technical and financial damages caused by errors in project incompatibility, execution, and planning were identified. The most recurrent problems at the current stage of the project were investigated, namely: errors in the positioning of electrical points due to project incompatibility, and errors in the dimension and execution of internal and external doors. Both issues led to cracks, material waste, and rework, with an estimated expense of up to R$219,000 for correction if no intervention had taken place during the process. A detailed assessment of all potential consequences resulting from this type of conduct was made, including probable pathological manifestations arising from these failures.
