Children´s education has been the subject of constant debate by parents and educators. The Orientation to Parent's Group (GO) has been developed at the University Hospital of the Federal University of Sergipe, since 2014. This paper will present the results of the implementation of the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) in parents who attended orientation groups in 2015 in HU. Participated in five mothers, a grandmother and her children and granddaughter. The results indicated that two of the children had low scores on competency scales and most problems in internalizing and externalizing areas. After the sessions of the GO was observed improvement in competency scales, as well as in problem areas. Mothers also reported changes in their educational practices in the sense that became more positive.
