Everyday companies needs to improve more and more the quality of their services, driven by customer’s requirement. With this purpose, the present work aims to present the operation of aircraft maintenance budget inside an executive airplane company, identify critical tasks and opportunities for improvement, deploying the DMAIC method with the kaizen philosophy, and propose an action plan to eliminate the fundamental causes of the findings problems. The methodology used is qualify as exploratory, and the case study is about the purpose, because provides more familiarity with the problem in order to make it more explicit or constitute theories. It is concluded that the use of the DMAIC method, combined with the Kaizen philosophy and quality tools had satisfactory results, because it enabled analysis and suggestions for improvement for the process evidenced during the study, creating the opportunity to make it more productive and agile to meet the expectations of the customers.
