RESUMO: Reconhecida majoritariamente por sua participação na crítica, imprensa e historiografia literárias, poucos registros e escassos trabalhos acadêmicos trazem estudos a respeito da obra ficcional de Lúcia Miguel Pereira. Escritora da primeira metade do século XX, a autora destaca-se por dar ênfase e voz a personagens femininas, sendo possível encontrar, em sua obra de ficção, uma visão bastante lúcida sobre temas como maternidade, casamento e a própria representação da mulher na Literatura. O objetivo deste trabalho é desenvolver uma análise investigativa do romance Maria Luísa (1933), atentando-se, especialmente, para a questão do estereótipo. Buscamos, portanto, o reconhecimento de uma obra pouco estudada, bem como o questionamento do cânone literário masculino, que, por muito tempo, foi marcado pela exclusão das mulheres escritoras. A partir da análise das personagens Maria Luísa e Lola, refletimos sobre a questão do estereótipo feminino, tanto na sociedade quanto na própria literatura. Para a realização deste artigo, partimos, principalmente, dos pressupostos teóricos de Constância Lima Duarte (1997), Helleith Saffioti (1987), Ana G. Macedo e Ana L. Amaral (2005), Jonathan Culler (1997) e Luís Bueno (2006). PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Crítica Feminista. Estereótipo. Lúcia Miguel Pereira.   ABSTRACT: Mainly recognized for her participation in literary criticism, press and historiography, few academic works bring studies about the fictional work of Lúcia Miguel Pereira. Woman writer from the beginning of the twentieth century, she gave emphasis and voice to female characters, thus finding in her work of fiction a very lucid view on themes such as maternity, marriage and woman’s representation in literature. The objective of this work is to develop an investigative analysis of the novel Maria Luísa (1933), paying attention, specially to the question of stereotype. We will seek, then, the recognition of a work seldomly studied, as well as the questioning of the masculine literary canon, which, for a long time, was marked by the exclusion of women writers. From the analysis of the characters Maria Luisa and Lola, we will reflect on the subject of the female stereotype, both in society and in literature itself. For the accomplishment of the article, we mainly set out the theoretical assumptions of Constância Lima Duarte (1997), Helleith Saffioti (1987), Ana G. Macedo and Ana L.
