Resumo: RESUMO: Estudo das dimensões simbólica e histórica da representação do feminino na obra Toda a América (1926), de Ronald de Carvalho, de modo a reconhecer e caracterizar, nos poemas que a integram, a construção de imagens relacionadas a cinco representações simbólicas arquetípicas: a sexualidade, a fecundação, a fundação, a clivagem e a misoginia, evidenciando as relações de poder a elas subjacentes. A abordagem crítica feminista se sustenta no pensamento de Bourdieu e de Beauvoir, além de estabelecer paralelos com o gênero épico, à luz de Silva e Ramalho. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Toda a América.
