Resumo: The Priest Camille Torrend was a professor and researcher, acting mainly as a mycologist. He has published several scientific articles, making relevant contributions throughout his career. This work aimed to list the taxa described by the Priest, as well as the new combinations proposed by him and the names described in his honor from a bibliographic survey and querying virtual databases. Camille Torrend described 14 new genera and 149 new species, in addition to carrying out 74 new combinations. Torrend also collected about 4,000 specimens of plants and fungi, some of these unknown to science, described later by other researchers. Thirty-three taxa were named in his honor and have his name as a specific epithet (torrendii, torrendiana, torrendiella, torrendianum), at genus (Hymenotorrendiella, Torrendia, Torrendiella) and family levels (Torrendiaceae). The results obtained here demonstrate Torrend's valuable contribution as a taxonomist and indicate the need for nomenclatural and taxonomic studies.

El Padre Camille Torrend fue profesor e investigador, actuando principalmente como micólogo. Publicó diversos artículos científicos, haciendo contribuciones significativas a lo largo de su carrera. Este trabajo tuvo como objetivo enlistar los taxa descritos por el Padre, así como las nuevas combinaciones propuestas por él y los nombres descritos en su homenaje, a partir de levantamiento bibliográfico y consulta a bancos de datos virtuales. Camille Torrend describió 13 géneros nuevos, y 149 especies nuevas, además de realizar 74 nuevas combinaciones. Torrend colectó, además, cerca de 4.000 especímenes de plantas y hongos, algunas de estás desconocidas para la ciencia, descritas posteriormente por otros investigadores. Treinta y tres taxa fueron descritos en su homenaje y poseen su nombre como epíteto específico (torrendii, torrendiana, torrendiella, torrendianum), como género (Hymenotorrendiella, Torrendia, Torrendiella) y como familia (Torrendiaceae). Los resultados aquí levantados demuestran la valiosa contribución de Torrend como taxonomista, e indican la necesidad de estudios nomenclaturales y taxonómicos. Este trabalho teve como objetivo listar os táxons descritos pelo Padre, assim como as novas combinações propostas por ele e os nomes descritos em sua homenagem, a partir de levantamento bibliográfico e consulta a bancos de dados virtuais. Camille Torrend descreveu 14 novos gêneros e 149 espécies novas, além de realizar 74 novas combinações. Torrend coletou ainda, cerca de 4.000 espécimes de plantas e fungos, algumas destas desconhecidas da ciência, descritas posteriormente por outros pesquisadores.
