Resumo: This article has a threefold purpose: (i) to present the “Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre Organização e Gestão de Políticas Sociais” (Nucleus of Studies and Research on Organization and Management of Social policies) (GERASOL), its objectives and action proposals; (ii) to report on the research project entitled “Network of Social Service Rendering of the ‘Grande Florianópolis`”, carried out by the Nucleus and aiming at identifying and registering the existing social organizations in the ´Grande Florianópolis` region; and (iii) to describe the project “Social Portal”, a virtual space to access, disseminate and socialize information and studies carried out in the social area.

Discorre sobre o projeto de pesquisa “Rede de Prestação de Serviços Sociais da Grande Florianópolis”, desenvolvido pelo Núcleo. Projeto este que objetiva identificar e cadastrar as diversas organizações sociais existentes na região da Grande Florianópolis.
