Summary: | An inventory of non-flying mammals was made, between April 1994 and April 1995, in the Brazilian pine forest and gallery forest of Três Barras County, in the North plain of Santa Catarina State, in the South of Brazil. Four methodologies were employed: capture with live traps; visualization in situ; identification of footprints; and interviews with local residents. 2,364 trap nights were obtained, with a capture percentage of 3.08%. 35 species (three exotics) were registered, belonging to 7 orders and 18 families. |

Foram empregadas quatro metodologias: captura com armadilhas (live traps); visualização em campo dos animais; identificação de vestígios e entrevistas com moradores locais. Obteve-se um número total de 2.364 armadilhas-noite e a percentagem de captura de 3,08%.
