Resumo: | The capsular artery in dog is a direct continuation of the testicular artery at the albuginic level with primary, secondary and tertiary branching. The tertiary vessels form the interlobular and intralobular arteries, and sequentially the arterioles which form the capillary networks whose anatomical pattern was previously described in dog (Duarte ET al., 1994). A Similar confluent venous pattern was observed to formation of the pampiniform plexus that is the main drainage pathway from the testis. The testicular capilar neteworks are confluent to form venules, veins and finally the pampiniform plexus near the cranial pole of the testis. The arterial and venous patterns of the testis in dog are analysed and described, comparatively with existing descriptions. |

As artérias formam artérias interlo bulares e intralobulares e destas as arteríolas testiculares, que por sua vez formam as redes capilares cujo comportamento anatômico foi previamente descrito nesta esspecie (Duarte ET al., 1994). As confluências das redes capilares testiculares formam vênulas e depois veias com padrão anatômico similar, porem mais plexiforme que os vasos arteriais. A drenagem venosa testicular no cão conflui, predominantemente, para a formação do plexo pampiniforme, junto ao pólo cranial do testículo.
