Resumo: | This work, based on a dialogue between the Applied Linguistics - precisely the studies about linguistic assessment - and the Enunciation Linguistics - precisely the Émile Benveniste’s enunciative theorization -, aims to answer the following questions: 1st) which retroactive effect can the Competency 5 assessed in ENEM essay have about the teaching and learning of writing in high school? 2nd) which enunciative effect can this competency have about the constitution of the text as a space for full expression of student’s singularity as a subject of language? For this purpose, four enunciative excerpts extracted from texts that reached score 1000 in ENEM editions of 2017 and 2018 were analyzed. The results of the analysis conducted to the following answers: 1st) competency 5 assessed in ENEM essay can have, as a retroactive effect in high school education, the teaching and learning of a strict text model, characterized bymemorization of expressions and repetition of ideas related to agents, actions, means, and social effects of intervention proposals developed in student textual productions; 2nd) this competency can still have, as an enunciative effect in the student’s writing, the crystallization of significant relationships that generate a reification of the text, undermining it as a space for a full expression of student’s singularity as a subject of language. |

Writing as a human practice: from the retroactive effect to the enunciative effect of the intervention proposal of ENEM essay in the teaching and learning of writingA escrita como prática humana: do efeito retroativo ao efeito enunciativo da proposta de intervenção da redação ENEM no ensino-aprendizagem da escritaThis work, based on a dialogue between the Applied Linguistics - precisely the studies about linguistic assessment - and the Enunciation Linguistics - precisely the Émile Benveniste’s enunciative theorization -, aims to answer the following questions: 1st) which retroactive effect can the Competency 5 assessed in ENEM essay have about the teaching and learning of writing in high school? 2nd) which enunciative effect can this competency have about the constitution of the text as a space for full expression of student’s singularity as a subject of language?
