“I feel like I’m dreaming all of this...”: Play and multi-age interactions in the Early Childhood Education

Resumo: This paper discusses the importance of interactions between children of different ages in the scope of Early Childhood Education, using play in the context of multi-aged groups in the city of Campinas-SP as the object of analysis. The objective of this paper is to present a report based on the listening of children aged between 3 and 6 during the interactions between different classes in a Early Childhood Education Center in the year of 2019. From the presented analysis and the contribution of Sociology of Childhood the paper discusses the importance of practices that break up the segmentation of children according to their ages and the adults’ supremacy, so that the displacement, the discoveries, the dreams and the contact between teachers and children of several classes are favored.

O objetivo é apresentar um relato realizado a partir da escuta de crianças de 3 a 6 anos de idade durante as interações entre turmas de um Centro de Educação Infantil (CEI), no ano de 2019.
