Diversos pesquisadores, principalmente da área da engenharia vem desenvolvendo trabalhos importantes com o intuito de minimizar tal situação. Por estes motivos, este trabalho de conclusão de curso em engenharia civil tem por objetivo apresentar os indicadores de perdas físicas e monetárias da execução de alvenaria de blocos de concreto em paredes autoportantes, a partir do conhecimento real de consumo de materiais, baseado no consumo pré-definido de projeto. O método de pesquisa foi aplicado em um empreendimento habitacional de interesse social, construído em alvenaria estrutural, na região de São José/SC. A coleta de dados sobre as perdas de material contempla a análise do uso de blocos de concreto em onze locais de trabalho, onde foram executados, desde o caixão perdido até a platibanda dos prédios, levando-se em conta os dez tipos de blocos que compõem o projeto estrutural. A partir dos dados coletados na observação de campo, conseguiram-se determinar os índices de perdas, identificar as causas das ocorrências e propor melhorias. Assim, conclui-se que o método utilizado atingiu seu objetivo e gerou informações importantes para auxiliar nas ações corretivas dos serviços.The discussion of losses in construction materials has been treated with much seriousness. Many researchers, especially in the area of engineering has developed important works in order to minimize the situation. For these reasons, this work of completion in civil engineering aims to present the indicators of physical and monetary losses of the implementation of concrete block masonry in freestanding walls, from the actual knowledge of material consumption, based on pre consumption -defined project. The research method was applied in a housing development of social interest, built in structural masonry, in the region of São José / SC. Data collection about the losses of material includes the analysis of the use of concrete blocks in eleven workplaces, where they were executed, since the lost coffin to the fascia of the buildings, taking into account the ten types of blocks that make up structural design. From the data collected in the field observation, is able to determine the rate of loss, identify the causes of incidents and propose improvements.
