The issues raised here are about file, enrollment and discursive memory, as from the imbrication of the significant materialities that produce sense(s) at the Museu da Língua Portuguesa during the exhibition “Jorge Amado is Universal”. The theoretical contribution for such discussions is based mainly on works by Orlandi (2001, 2012), Pêcheux (1994, 1997), Lagazzi (2004, 2011), Silva Sobrinho (2011) and Neckel (2004, 2010). Our aim is to understand the processes of identification/des-identification by means of sensitive projections on the reading of symbolic objects that have in the language, in the culture and in the contemporary museological patrimony their esthetical/esthesic territories of misunderstanding and contradiction of subject position of readers and their authors.
