Resumo: This text consists of an analysis of the academic and scientific memorial presented to the examination board of the public tender for the position of full professor at the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria - UFSM/RS/Brazil - in the year of 2017. In this summary, I present my journey as a professor, researcher and mentor of master and doctorate degrees in PPGE/UFSM, as well as my academic and scientific exchange activities, in other Brazilian universities as well as abroad. I sought in this memorial to present my study and research path, in education in general and specially in teacher training and education. My intellectual output has emphasized on the search for disrupting the academicals practice so common in our universities of copying and imitating models and epistemologies already in disuse or abandoned by other countries. In that sense, for several years I have studied the philosophical and epistemological contributions of the Brazilian Cultural Anthropophagy for the Brazilian education.

Nessa síntese apresento minha trajetória como professor, pesquisador e orientador de mestrado e doutorado no PPGE/UFSM, bem como minhas atividades de intercâmbio acadêmico e científico em outras universidades brasileiras e também estrangeiras. Procurei no decorrer desse Memorial apresentar meu caminho de estudos e de pesquisas em educação em geral e na formação de professores(as) em especial. Minha produção intelectual deu ênfase para buscar romper com a prática acadêmica tão comum em nossas universidades de copiar e imitar modelos e epistemologias que já estão em desuso ou já foram abandonadas em outros países.
