Perceptions and expectations of technical progress in landscaping students

Resumo: | The student’s expectations correspond to the expectations regarding to training and professional active in the market, while the perceptions of the training process as they relate to the skills required to perform a given profession are met and if the student feels able to develop them further. The aim of this study was to analyze the perceptions and expectations of students of the College Technician Landscaping Polytechnic UFSM on their own training. Students in the earlier half of the course represent greater confidence and determination as to their training compared to students from the initial semesters, showing the evolution of perceptions and expectations during the trajectory. The course includes partially analyzed the provisions of the political pedagogical project, since the skills relating to the jurisdiction of one of the modules are reported difficulty with the students.Key-words: job, motivation, questionnaires. |

The course includes partially analyzed the provisions of the political pedagogical project, since the skills relating to the jurisdiction of one of the modules are reported difficulty with the students.Key-words: job, motivation, questionnaires.As expectativas dos alunos correspondem aos anseios em relação à formação profissional, enquanto as percepções em relação ao processo de formação dizem respeito a como as habilidades requeridas para a execução de uma determinada profissão são atendidas e se o aluno sente-se capaz de desenvolvê-las posteriormente. O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar a percepção e as expectativas dos alunos do Curso Técnico em Paisagismo do Colégio Politécnico da UFSM sobre sua própria formação. Os alunos do semestre mais adiantado do curso apresentam maior segurança e determinação quanto à sua formação em comparação aos alunos dos semestres iniciais, denotando evolução das percepções e expectativas durante a trajetória.
