Resumo: This study aims to discuss whether you need training in Special Education, as reported in the legislation for the work of teachers in Class Hospital.To this end, we performed a qualitative study of a phenomenological framework which sought, through interviews with two teachers who work in Hospital class, analyze and discuss the relevance of such training in Special Education in the professional role of educator in the hospital. Graduate teacher Class Hospital seems to be a learning experience that goes far beyond the lessons learned in graduate degrees in education and in the old qualifications in Special Education, now extinct, and continued education must is to present and acting professor of Hospital class. The study showed that there is a need for more research regarding teacher training for operations in Class Hospital.

The study showed that there is a need for more research regarding teacher training for operations in Class Hospital.O presente estudo tem como objetivo discutir se é necessária a formação em Educação Especial, como aponta a legislação, para a atuação do pedagogo na Classe Hospitalar. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa de fundamentação fenomenológica, que buscou, por meio de entrevistas com duas professoras que atuam em Classe Hospitalar, analisar e discutir a pertinência ou não da formação em Educação Especial na atuação profissional do pedagogo no hospital. Formar-se professor de Classe Hospitalar parece ser um aprendizado que vai muito além dos ensinamentos adquiridos na graduação em Pedagogia e nas antigas habilitações em Educação Especial, hoje extintas, sendo que a formação continuada deve encontrar-se presente para e na atuação do professor da Classe Hospitalar. O estudo mostrou que há a necessidade de mais pesquisas referentes à formação de professores para atuação em Classe Hospitalar.
