Resumo: This work presents the synthesis of aminoacid derivatives containing selenium or tellurium. The synthetic strategy employed herein afforded the target compounds in a two-step route. Besides, it awarded a modular characteristic to the products, allowing a quick synthesis of a small library of new compounds with high structural diversity. The synthetic approach employed the amide bond formation between bromocarboxylic acids 1a-c and L-valine and L-phenylalanine methyl ester 2a and 2b respectively. The bromoacetic acid 1a, 3-bromopropionic acid 1b and 4- bromobutyric acid 1c were treated with base and ethyl chloroformate to produce the mixed anhydride in situ, which was then reacted with the aminoesters to form the key intermediates 3a-e in high yields. [...]O presente trabalho apresenta a síntese de derivados de aminoácidos contendo selênio ou telúrio. A estratégia sintética adotada permitiu a obtenção dos compostos desejados em apenas duas etapas reacionais. Além disso, ainda conferiu aos mesmos um caráter modular, o que propiciou o acesso rápido a uma ampla série de compostos com grande diversidade estrutural. A estratégia utilizada envolveu a reação de formação de ligação amida entre os ácidos carboxílicos funcionalizados com bromo 1a-c e os cloridratos dos aminoésteres L-valina e L-fenilalanina 2a e 2b, respectivamente. Os ácidos bromo acético 1a, 3-bromo propiônico 1b e o 4-bromo butírico 1c foram tratados com base e cloro formiato de etila para gerar o anidrido misto in situ, este reagiu com os aminoésteres, formando os intermediários chave 3a-e em altos rendimentos.
