Resumo: This paper was created from possible interpretations of the poem "Ay Kakuyri Tama (I live in the city)", by the indigenous Amazonian author Márcia Kambeba. This research is presented as a theoretical one and of a bibliographical nature. We believe that this theme is relevant to think about the different types of literatures emerging in today's society, as well as indigenous literature. The indigenous poetry of Márcia Kambeba reveals to us a strong dependency on memory and orality, the affirmation of indigenous identity, among other points, giving voice to indigenous women and reaffirming the importance of their social territories.
