A Educação Infantil é tida como um espaço firmemente marcado pela potencialização do acesso das crianças à cultura escrita. Essa modalidade educacional assume, então, a alçada de momento apropriado, para viabilizar o acesso das crianças à multiplicidade de atividades de leitura e de escrita, assim como aos múltiplos registros da linguagem (corporal, gestual, plástica, visual etc.). Nesse sentido, este trabalho tem por objetivo refletir sobre a relevância dos projetos de letramento no ensino de língua materna, bem como no processo de aquisição da escrita alfabética. Decorrente disso, pretendemos refletir acerca das transmutações ocorridas no trabalho didático com a aquisição da escrita alfabética e relatar as experiências vivenciadas em um projeto de letramento realizado em uma turma de Grupo IV (Educação Infantil), em um Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil da Cidade do Recife.Palavras-chave: educação infantil; aquisição da escrita alfabética; projetos de letramento. Abstract : The Childhood Education is taken as a space strongly marked by the potentiation of the children's access to written culture. This educational modality therefore assumes the responsibility of the appropriate time, to facilitate the access of children to multiplicity of reading and writing activities, as well as the multiple rows of language (corporal, gestural, plastic, visual etc.). In this case, this paper aims to reflect on the relevance of literacy projects in mother tongue teaching, as well as the acquisition of alphabetic writing process. Resulting from this, we intend to reflect on the transmutations occurring in didactic work with the acquisition of alphabetic writing and report the experiences in a literacy project carried out in a class of Group IV (Childhood Education) in a Municipal Center of Childhood Education in the city of Recife.keywords: childhood education; acquisition of alphabetic writing; literacy projects.
