Resumo: | ABSTRACT. Education as a right for all permeates the paths of the contributions of Education in the Countryside. From this perspective, this study has as general objective to present the program ProJovem Campo Saberes da Terra and its importance for the formations of Young Family farmers in the Microregion of Bico do Papagaio, Tocantins. For this purpose, a qualitative approach was chosen for the generation and interpretation of data, in which bibliographic and documental consultation was used. From 2005 to 2012, ProJovem Campo – Saberes da Terra assisted 774 students at Bico do Papagaio, promoting social and professional training based on the Program's proposals. The data indicate the achievement of a Program that was developed for young family farmers, which, through the Family Agriculture and Sustainability course, promoted social and professional qualification with perspectives in contributing to the development of work, income generation and permanence of young people in their communities. |

La educación como derecho de todos permea los caminos de las aportaciones de la Educación en el Campo. Desde esta perspectiva, este estudio tiene como objetivo presentar el Programa ProJovem Campo – Saberes da Terra y su importancia para la educación de jóvenes agricultores en la Microrregión de Bico do Papagaio, Tocantins. Para ello, se optó por un enfoque cualitativo para la generación e interpretación de datos, en el que se utilizó la consulta bibliográfica y documental. De 2005 a 2012, ProJovem Campo - Saberes da Terra asistió a 774 estudiantes de Bico do Papagaio, promoviendo la formación social y profesional a partir de las propuestas del Programa. Los datos señalan la consecución de un Programa que se desarrolló para jóvenes agricultores familiares, que a través del curso Agricultura Familiar y Sustentabilidad, promueve la capacitación social y profesional con perspectivas de contribuir al desarrollo del trabajo, generación de ingresos y permanencia de los jóvenes en su entorno comunidades.ABSTRACT. Nessa perspectiva, o presente estudo tem como objetivo geral apresentar o Programa ProJovem Campo – Saberes da Terra e sua a importância para a formação das/os jovens agricultoras/es familiares na Microrregião do Bico do Papagaio, Tocantins. Para tanto optou-se pela metodologia de abordagem qualitativa para geração e interpretação dos dados, em que se fez uso de consulta bibliográfica e documental. No período de 2005 a 2012, o ProJovem Campo – Saberes da Terra atendeu 774 estudantes no Bico do Papagaio, promovendo formação social e profissional a partir das propostas do Programa. Os dados indicam a consecução de um Programa que foi desenvolvido para jovens agricultoras/es familiares, que por meio do curso de Agricultura Familiar e Sustentabilidade promoveu qualificação social e profissional com perspectivas na contribuição do desenvolvimento do trabalho, geração de renda e permanência das/os jovens em suas comunidades.
