Supervised internship as catalytic curricular components of knowledge in pre-service teacher education

Resumo: We have characterized the mandatory disciplines of supervised internship of teacher education courses as catalytic curricular components of the knowledge required in initial teacher education. We have developed a critical and comparative analysis between the syllabi of the supervised internship disciplines and the other disciplines from the curriculum of a Portuguese Language Teacher Education Course. This research is situated in the indisciplinary field of Applied Linguistics and it is a documental investigation developed from a qualitative approach. The analyses have shown that the supervised internship disciplines differ from the others by providing some articulation between academic theories and requirements of the pedagogical practice in the work place of the teacher.

Desenvolvemos uma análise crítica e comparativa entre as ementas das disciplinas de estágio supervisionado e demais disciplinas da matriz curricular de uma Licenciatura em Língua Portuguesa. Esta pesquisa está situada no campo indisciplinar da Linguística Aplicada, sendo a investigação do tipo documental e desenvolvida a partir de uma abordagem qualitativa.
