Resignification of grammar teaching: a theoretical discussion

Resumo: | This bibliographic-oriented article relies on the theoretical framework of Text Linguistics with a sociocognitive-interactional approach. We aim at developing a critical review of the changes seen in Portuguese language teaching that, triggered by the linguistic studies advances, enabled new conceptualizations and new processes to study the language. Thus, there have been ruptures involving previous conceptions. We understand language teaching not only as form, but also as content, highlighting, then, reading and writing activities as being sui generis so as to apply the transposition of grammar teaching to Linguistics Analysis teaching. |
