Resumo: This article presents the results of a research study that aimed to analyze the educational practices of the Association of Small Rural Producers of Pau Branco - APAB. The method used was Dialectical Historical Materialism (DHM), and the data collection instruments included questionnaires and document analysis with representatives of Civil Society, Project Developers, project partner members, and families from that community. The collected data revealed that associativism has persisted as a way of carrying out work within APAB. The individuals involved in this context have organized themselves collectively and have benefited from public policies such as the Food Acquisition Program (PAA) and the National School Feeding Program (PNAE), which are alternatives aimed at promoting associativism in rural areas.

O método utilizado foi o Materialismo Histórico Dialético (MHD) e os instrumentos de coleta de dados foram questionários e análise documental com os representantes da sociedade civil, o elaborador de projetos, os sócios projetistas e as famílias daquela comunidade. Os dados coletados evidenciaram que o associativismo tem se perpetuado como uma forma de realização do trabalho na APAB.
