Resumo: The Integrated Formative Actions Program (AFIN) is part of an extension context of formation and aims to support and assist the entry of high school students in situations of economic vulnerability in higher education and to contribute to the formation of major students through teaching practices. The program has the characteristics of a popular preparatory course and began its activities in the second semester of 2015, with 115 students, and its continuity in 2016 expanded to 367 students, achieving significant results in the goals set. This text aims to describe the results of this Program and analyze it considering other similar initiatives and popular education references. The analysis presents elements of this contribution, but also points to the possibility of improving the action with a view to achieving its objective.

The analysis presents elements of this contribution, but also points to the possibility of improving the action with a view to achieving its objective.O Programa Ações Formativas Integradas (AFIN) se insere em um contexto formativo extensionista e tem como objetivos apoiar e auxiliar o ingresso no ensino superior de estudantes do ensino médio em situação de vulnerabilidade econômica e contribuir para a formação do discente dos cursos de licenciatura da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia por meio de práticas docentes. O programa possui características de um cursinho popular e iniciou suas atividades, no segundo semestre de 2015, com 115 estudantes, e a sua continuidade, no ano de 2016, expandiu para 367 estudantes, obtendo resultados significativos, tanto em relação ao ingresso de estudantes no ensino superior, quanto na formação dos acadêmicos. Este texto tem como objetivo descrever os resultados do AFIN e analisá-los considerando outras iniciativas similares e referenciais de educação popular.
