Resumo: | The research aims to identify the main factors in the decline of the textile park of Alagoas parallel to the restructuring of the textile park of Sergipe, and to consider the motivations in the installation of textile factories in certain cities of Sergipe. These are neighboring states with similar socioeconomic dimensions and a historical process that allows some approximations. The beginning of the 21st century marks the temporal cut of the research. Due to the fact that it is a complex industrial sector, the spinning and weaving textile mills are not in the process of being abandoned, and that they do not rule out vertically integrated companies, that is, they integrate the productive stages of processing the fibers into the production of a particular textile article. |

Se trata de estados vecinos con porte socioeconómico semejante y un proceso histórico que permite algunas aproximaciones. El inicio del siglo XXI marca el recorte temporal de la investigación. Por tratarse de un sector industrial complejo la investigación se detiene las fábricas textiles de hilado y tejido, no descartando empresas verticalmente integradas, es decir, que integran las etapas productivas de beneficiamiento de las fibras a la producción de determinado artículo textil.La recherche vise à identifier les principaux facteurs du déclin du parc textile d'Alagoas parallèlement à la restructuration du parc textile de Sergipe, et à examiner les motivations liées à l'installation d'usines de textile dans certaines villes de Sergipe. Ce sont des États voisins aux dimensions socio-économiques similaires et au processus historique qui permet certaines approximations. Le début du 21ème siècle marque la coupe temporelle de la recherche. Étant donné qu’il s’agit d’un secteur industriel complexe, les usines de textile à filer et à tisser ne sont pas en train d’être abandonnées et à exclure les sociétés intégrées verticalement, c’est-à-dire qu’elles intègrent les étapes productives de la transformation des fibres dans la production d’un article textile particulier.De forte tradição têxtil, os estados de Alagoas e Sergipe apresentam realidades opostas sobretudo a partir dos anos 2000. Alagoas enfrentou o declínio de seu parque têxtil nas décadas recentes ao passo que Sergipe se reestruturou neste setor. Assim, a pesquisa tem por objetivo identificar os principais fatores do declínio do parque têxtil alagoano, à medida que, em Sergipe ocorre a reestruturação do parque têxtil, e considerar as motivações na instalação de fábricas têxteis em determinadas cidades sergipanas. A escolha em estudar ambos os estados sob a perspectiva têxtil não foi aleatória. Trata-se de estados vizinhos com porte socioeconômico semelhante e um processo histórico que permite algumas aproximações. Analisando em perspectiva histórica, o início do século XXI marca o recorte temporal da pesquisa. Por se tratar de um setor industrial complexo a pesquisa se detêm as fábricas têxteis de fiação e tecelagem, não descartando empresas verticalmente integradas, isto é, que integram as etapas produtivas de beneficiamento das fibras à produção de determinado artigo têxtil.
