O objetivo desta pesquisa foi avaliar o efeito de herbicidas sobre bact?rias fixadoras de nitrog?nio e fungos micorr?zicos, simbiontes de esp?cies arb?reas. Os experimentos foram realizados em laborat?rio e casa de vegeta??o. No primeiro estudo foram avaliados os efeitos dos herbicidas 2,4-D, oxyfluorfen, sulfentrazone, clomazone, glyphosate, glufosinato de am?nio, atrazine, ametrin e diuron sobre Bradyrhizobium sp. e o potencial de degrada??o dos herbicidas pela bact?ria, in vitro. No segundo estudo foi avaliada a atividade de fungos micorr?zicos da rizosfera de Inga edulis, Myrsine gardneriana, Schizolobium parahyba, Toona ciliata, Trichilia hirta e Triplaris americana submetidas aos tratamentos com atrazine e sulfentrazone. O efeito de doses comerciais dos herbicidas testados na bact?ria Bradyrhizobium sp. variou entre os mesmos. O glyphosate, sulfentrazone e diuron foram os mais t?xicos e diminu?ram o crescimento das bact?rias. Os herbicidas sulfentrazone, glyphosate e diuron diminu?ram a densidade celular m?xima e o tempo de m?ximo crescimento celular. Bradyrhizobium sp. degradou os herbicidas 2,4-D, atrazine, sulfentrazone e diuron e os utilizou como fonte de carbono para seu crescimento. Algumas atividades dos fungos micorr?zicos arbasculares das ?rvores submetidas aos herbicidas atrazine e sulfentrazone foram comprometidas. As esp?cies M. gardneriana, S. parahyba e T. ciliata foram as que tiveram comportamento semelhante ?s esp?cies no tratamento sem herbicida a partir do escalonamento multidimensional n?o-m?trico feito com as vari?veis analisadas.Submitted by Jos? Residues of these pesticides can contaminate non-target areas, requiring decontamination, which can be done by tree species and its associated microbiome. The objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of herbicides on nitrogen - fixing bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi, symbionts of arboreal species. The experiments were carried out in laboratory and greenhouse. In the first study the effects of the herbicides 2,4-D, oxyfluorfen, sulfentrazone, clomazone, glyphosate, glufosinate ammonium, atrazine, ametrin and diuron on Bradyrhizobium sp. and the potential degradation of the herbicides by the bacterium, in vitro. In the second study the activity of mycorrhizal fungi of Inga edulis, Myrsine gardneriana, Schizolobium parahyba, Toona ciliata, Trichilia hirta and Triplaris americana submitted to treatments with atrazine and sulfentrazone were evaluated. The effect of commercial doses of the tested herbicides on Bradyrhizobium sp. varied between them. Glyphosate, sulfentrazone and diuron were the most toxic and decreased the growth of bacteria. The herbicides sulfentrazone, glyphosate and diuron decreased the maximum cell density and time of maximum cell growth. Bradyrhizobium sp. degraded the herbicides 2,4-D, atrazine, sulfentrazone and diuron and used them as a source of carbon for their growth. Some activities of the arboric mycorrhizal fungi of the trees submitted to the herbicides atrazine and sulfentrazone were compromised.
