Resumo: | This thesis analyse the vertical profile of the tropospheric water vapor with verification of homogeneity and identification trends in its distribution. For this purpose, has been applying vertical and horizontal profile of water vapor in the troposphere analyzed, by the mixing ratio (r). The analysis was realized to atmospheric pressure levels of 700, 500 and 300 hPa, selected from radiosondes information at stations located in the Arctic, North America, Central and South America, in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. To identify trends, series of water vapor time were subjected to statistical non parametric Mann-Kendall test, along with analysis of simple linear regression, tested using the Student t test for the slope of the regression. The homogeneity of the time series was calculated using the non parametric statistical test Pettitt which detects existing abrupt change in time series. For all tests, was adopting a statistical significance level of α = 0.05% probability. The results have shows that the concentration of tropospheric water vapor, to atmospheric pressure levels, showed different characteristics in its spatial and temporal distribution. For regions such as the Arctic, North America, the Caribbean and northern South America the predominance of positive trends in the concentration of water vapor in the level of 700 hPa, have been founal. Negative trends at this level were identified in the southwestern U.S., Mexico, and southern South America. For the level of 500 hPa, et has observed been an increases in number of stations with statistically significant positive trends over North America and the Arctic. At 300 hPa, the preeminence of stations with positive (negative) trends, with statistical significance was observed over the Caribbean (southern U.S.) region. The verification of the homogeneity the water vapor showed a few measuring stations the existence of abrupt change in their distribution, with predominant increase in the concentration of water vapor after the year indicated. |
