A partir disto surge o questionamento de como essa relação entre gerações se constitui. Este trabalho explora a questão da relação entre avós e netos considerando a contemporaneidade e como a distribuição familiar se dá nos dias atuais, a visão e o papel que cada um estabelece na vida do outro e como isso afeta, tanto no desenvolvimento da criança, como impacta na vida dos avós. Objetivos: Investigar a percepção e representatividade dos netos para com os seus avós e dos avós para com os seus netos e como se estabelece a relação de troca entre estas duas gerações a partir da análise das atividades que realizam juntos. Método: Esta é uma pesquisa qualitativa de caráter descritivo exploratório. A pesquisa foi operacionalizada através de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Foram selecionadas 4 crianças que frequentam regularmente uma creche filantrópica situada no Condomínio Privê/DF e seus respectivos avós. A organização dos dados se deu por meio da transcrição integral das entrevistas, das notas do diário de campo e dos desenhos realizados pelos netos, utilizando a seguir a análise de conteúdo de Bardin para o material. Resultados e discussão: As atividades mais citadas foram o brincar, o auxílio nas tarefas escolares e domésticas, cuidados com a higiene e passeios. Pode-se perceber através destas atividades, o espaço existente, onde netos e avós trocam experiências, sejam através de conselhos, brincadeiras, ordens ou ensinamentos transmitidos tanto pelos avós, como pelos netos. Considerações finais: Conclui-se que os netos que residem com avós, disponibilizam de maior tempo juntos, e tem um repertório diversificado de atividades que realizam juntos em vista dos que não residem no mesmo local. From this arises the questioning of how this relation between generations is constituted. This paper explores the question of the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren considering contemporaneity and how the family distribution occurs in the present day. The vision and role that each one establishes in the life of the other and how it affects both the development of the child and how it impacts the lives of the grandparents. Objectives: To investigate the perception and representativeness of the grandchildren to their grandparents and grandmothers to their grandchildren and how the relationship of exchange between these two generations is established by analyzing the activities they carry out together. Method: This is a qualitative research of descriptive exploratory character. The research was operationalized through semi-structured interviews. We selected 4 children who regularly attend a philanthropic daycare center located in the Privê / DF Condominium and their respective grandparents. The organization of the data was done by means of the complete transcription of the interviews, the notes of the field diary and the drawings made by the grandchildren, using the analysis of Bardin content for the material. Results and discussion: The most cited activities were play, help with homework and school tasks, hygiene care and walking. One can see through these activities the existing space where grandchildren and grandparents exchange experiences, whether through advice, games, orders or teachings transmitted by grandparents and grandchildren. Final considerations: It is concluded that the grandchildren who live with grandparents, offer more time together, and have a diversified repertoire of activities that they perform together in view of those who do not reside in the same place.
