Mensurar o fenômeno da aquisição de conhecimento a fim de torná-lo mais eficiente é tarefa complexa se levados em conta todas as variáveis envolvidas. Entretanto, isoladas as variáveis que possam ser quantificadas, é possível através de análises de dados estatísticos, traçar padrões e perfis que tornem viável o estudo da aprendizagem. O objetivo deste projeto é levantar dados sobre três principais áreas significativas e mensuráveis (perfil do aluno, perfil do professor, compatibilidade entre ensino e aprendizagem) para então avaliar um panorama racional e direto que possa levar a conclusões empíricas. Para tal, será usado o método de tipologias de ensino de Felder-Silverman, que consiste na análise de binários com os quais será possível determinar qual tipo de perfil de aprendizado cada aluno apresenta bem como qual tipo de perfil de ensino cada professor se utiliza. Cruzando tais dados com os resultados dos alunos, verificar-se-á a compatibilidade entre ambos e as implicâncias geradas por suas discrepâncias, bem como as vantagens observadas quando houver harmonia. Devido ao fato de os autores deste projeto cursarem Engenharia Civil na Universidade de Brasília, a aplicação do trabalho será restringida a esse campo amostral, onde há maior interesse de resultados e a análise pode ser imersiva e mais precisa. Serão levantados dados estatísticos provindos da Universidade de Brasília, Faculdade de Tecnologia, Departamento de Engenharia Civil e Ambiental, bem como de questionários aplicados em alunos e professores; visando uma análise concreta e precisa. To measure the phenomenon of knowledge acquisition in order to make it more efficient is a complex task if taken in consideration all variables involved in the process. However, isolating the variables that can be quantified and analyzing statistical data, it is possible to define patterns and profiles that can sponsor the study of learning itself. The goal of this project is to process data on three main areas which can be measured (student’s profile, teacher’s profile, compatibility between teaching and learning styles) so that it may become possible to evaluate a direct and rational panorama that may lead to empirical conclusions on the subject. To achieve that, the Felder-Silverman method of leaning typologies will be applied. The method consists in analyzing binaries with will make it possible to determine not only each student’s learning profile, but also each teacher’s teaching profile. Crossing these data with students’ progress throughout the course, the compatibility between both will be made possible of quantification. Furthermore, the consequences generated from their discrepancies as well as the profits from a harmony between them will be naturally observed. Due to the fact that the authors of this research are both Civil Engineering students form University of Brasilia, the application of this work will be restricted to people that share that same reality. In that way, there is more interest for investment in the research and the analysis becomes immersive and more precise. For the development of this paper, it will be used data from the University of Brasilia, the Faculty of Technology, the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, as well as surveys applied on students and teachers to ultimately achieve a concrete and precise analysis.
