Experiments with the Readings of João Gilberto Noll

Resumo: The present text is based on a kind of desecration of the academic article. An essay-experiment, marked by the fusion of creative writing and literary theory, in which is constructed an explicit exposition of subjectivity and confession. Making use of the dramatic form, I seek to reconstruct fifteen hours of dialogue with João Gilberto Noll. In the rereading of my notes, I found many of the author’s own phrases. Writing a dramatic text was a way of experimenting with other forms of theorizing about contemporary Brazilian literature. I believe the time has come for disciplinary diasporas and epistemological bootlegging. Aligned with the Deleuzian assertion that each concept is a territoriality, the present dramaturgy offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the construction of the canonical essay. When JGN read his texts in public there was always a mixture of discomfort and restlessness. This essay-play also seeks to present a form of disruptive writing: a theatricality of knowledge.

A partir de una explícita exposición de la subjetividad y de la confesionalidad, se orquesta un ensayo-experimento (ensayo-experiencia), marcado por la fusión entre escritura creativa y teoría literaria. Al recurrir al texto dramático, busco registrar dialógicamente quince horas de interlocución con João Gilberto Noll. Releyendo mis diarios de anotaciones encontré muchas frases del autor. Escribir un texto dramático fue una forma de experimentar otras formas de teorizar sobre la literatura brasilera contemporánea. Creo que ha llegado el tiempo de contrabandos epistemológicos y diásporas disciplinares. Alineada la afirmación deleuziana de que cada concepto es una territorialidad, la presente dramaturgia busca una condición de clandestinidad con relación a las canónicas formulaciones ensayísticas. Cuando JGN leía sus textos públicamente siempre había una mezcla de incomodidad e inquietud. La presente pieza-ensayo también busca una forma de escritura disruptiva: una teatralidad del conocimiento.O presente texto está pautado por uma espécie de profanação do artigo acadêmico. A partir de uma explícita exposição da subjetividade e da confessionalidade, orquestra-se um ensaio-experimento (ensaio”“experiência), marcado pela fusão entre escrita criativa e teoria literária. Acredito que é chegado o tempo de contrabandos epistemológicos e diásporas disciplinares. Alinhada à afirmação deleuziana de que cada conceito é uma territoriedade, a presente dramaturgia busca uma condição de clandestinidade com relação às canônicas formulações ensaísticas. Quando JGN lia seus textos publicamente, sempre havia uma mistura de desconforto e inquietação.
