Resumo: | The female representation, in the literature, is recurrent, being a source of debates among scholars about such representation. In cordel literature, the female figure is also highlighted. The stories of the genre cover a variety of themes, among which the female figure is focused on assuming different faces: sometimes naive, fragile, submissive, sometimes unfaithful, cynical and malicious. In this way, we aim to observe how the female figure is represented in the booklet Casamento e Divórcio da Lagartixa, by Leandro Gomes de Barros. The research is qualitative and bibliographic in nature. The sources for the study are composed of authors who discuss the approach to the cordel text in the classroom, such as Marinho and Pinheiro (2012), Pinheiro (2013, 2018, 2020), Abreu (1999), Bradesco-Goudemand (1982) and Curran (1973). And for the discussion about the female figure, we turned to authors such as Zolin (2009), Del Priore (2004), and Perrot (2007). Given the above, we hope that this study will contribute to the criticism of the work of Leandro Gomes de Barros, by discussing the representation of the female figure as a possibility of meaning offered by this poetic narrative. |

Na literatura de cordel, a figura feminina também é evidenciada. As histórias do gênero abrangem uma diversidade de temas, dentre estes, a figura feminina é enfocada assumindo diferentes faces: ora ingênua, frágil, submissa, ora infiel, cínica e maliciosa. Dessa maneira, objetivamos observar como a figura feminina é representada no folheto Casamento e divórcio da Lagartixa, de Leandro Gomes de Barros. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa e de cunho bibliográfico. As fontes para o estudo compõem-se de autores que discute sobre a abordagem do texto de cordel em sala de aula, como Marinho e Pinheiro (2012), Pinheiro (2013, 2018, 2020), Abreu (1999), Bradesco-Goudemand (1982) e Curran (1973). E para a discussão sobre a figura feminina, recorremos a autoras como Zolin (2009), Del Priore (2004), e Perrot (2007). Diante do exposto, esperamos que este estudo venha a contribuir com a crítica acerca da obra de Leandro Gomes de Barros, ao discutir a representação da figura feminina como possibilidade de sentido oferecida por essa narrativa poética.
