Memories of the project Mathematics É Show and the autobiographic narratives: devices for a ludic, critical and cultural praxis

Resumo: In this article, we present some memories of the extension project “Mathematics is a Spectacle”, which, since 2011, has been developing activities that articulate theory and practice in the training of undergraduate students in Mathematics, based on the construction of differentiated, playful and contextualized teaching materials. On this path, we aim to reflect on its development, analyzing, from autobiographical narratives, the contributions of this project to the training of its participants. For this, we gathered the responses of the project monitors to the question: Is “Mathematics a Spectacle” for me...? These narratives were part of one of the activities commemorating the ten years of the project, carried out in 2020. The monitors expressed the meaning of the project in an emotional and poetic way, and each one, in their uniqueness, presented the contributions of " Mathematics is a Spectacle” to your academic, personal and professional life. The memories that constitute the project's history, effectively from the various actions developed, demonstrate the positive contributions to all involved and to the community of Alagoinhas the region, considering that public presentations are made in schools, academic events and at Rui Barbosa square in the city of Alagoinhas. Thus, we can say that these narratives were surprising and emotional due to the richness and creativity used by the monitors to express their reports, which reveal the project's potential, as well as the social responsibility we have as educators. Thus, we emphasize the importance of the extension and the research as the fundamental pillars of the University, as they provide opportunities for differentiated, playful, critical and cultural training. [Received on: July 29, 2021 - Accepted on: October 30, 2021]Neste artigo apresentamos algumas memórias do projeto de extensão “Matemática é Show”, que vem, desde 2011, desenvolvendo atividades que articulam teoria e prática na formação de licenciandos em Matemática, a partir da construção de materiais didáticos diferenciados, lúdicos e contextualizados. Nesta senda, objetivamos fazer uma reflexão sobre seu desenvolvimento, analisando, a partir de narrativas autobiográficas, as contribuições deste projeto para a formação de seus participantes. Para isso, reunimos as respostas dos/as monitores/as do projeto ao questionamento: O “Matemática é Show” para mim é...? Tais narrativas fizeram parte de uma das atividades em comemoração aos dez anos do projeto, realizadas em 2020. Os/as monitores/as expressaram o significado do projeto de forma emocionante e poética, e cada um, em sua singularidade, apresentou as contribuições do “Matemática é Show” para a sua vida acadêmica, pessoal e profissional. As memórias que constituem a história do projeto, de forma efetiva a partir das diversas ações desenvolvidas, demonstram as contribuições positivas para todos os envolvidos e para a comunidade de Alagoinhas e região, tendo em vista que são feitas apresentações públicas em escolas, eventos acadêmicos e na Praça Rui Barbosa da Cidade de Alagoinhas. Assim, podemos dizer que essas narrativas foram surpreendentes e emocionantes dadas a riqueza e a criatividade utilizadas pelos/as monitores/as para expressarem seus relatos, os quais revelam as potencialidades do projeto, bem como a responsabilidade social que temos enquanto educadores/as. Assim, salientamos a importância da extensão e da pesquisa como pilares fundamentais da Universidade, pois oportunizam uma formação diferenciada, lúdica, crítica e cultural.
