Advantages of the use of problem based learning method (pbl) in the health graduation courses

Resumo: | This work aimed to discuss the gains obtained by students of higher education in the understanding and assimilation of fundamental concepts in health care courses based on the use of the problem - based learning method (PBLM). A bibliographic survey was carried out in books obtained in the library of the Anhanguera University of São Paulo, theses, journals and scientific articles that were available in the scientific bases Scielo and Google Scholar, using as descriptor "method of learning based on problems". Based on this bibliographic review, it was possible to conclude that students, when submitted to PBLM, develop autonomy and independence during the construction of their own knowledge, characteristics that favor students in the search for knowledge, consolidation of ethical, fundamental and specific concepts in different courses of health area, in addition to promoting social interaction and strengthening the process of humanization during the training of students and health professionals. |

Se realizó un levantamiento bibliográfico en libros obtenidos en la biblioteca de la Universidad Anhanguera de São Paulo, tesis, revistas y artículos científicos que se encontraban disponibles en las bases científicas Scielo y Google Académico, utilizando como descriptor "método de aprendizaje basado en problemas". A partir de esta revisión bibliográfica fue posible concluir que los discentes, cuando sometidos al MABP, desarrollan autonomía e independencia durante la construcción de su propio conocimiento, características que favorecen a los estudiantes en la búsqueda del conocimiento, consolidación de conceptos éticos, fundamentales y específicos en diferentes cursos de la enseñanza el área de la salud, además de promover la interacción social y fortalecer el proceso de humanización durante la formación de los estudiantes y profesionales de la salud.Este trabalho objetivou discutir os ganhos obtidos por discentes do ensino superior na compreensão e assimilação de conceitos fundamentais em cursos da área da saúde a partir da utilização do método de aprendizagem baseado em problemas (MABP). Foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico em livros obtidos na biblioteca da Universidade Anhanguera de São Paulo, teses, revistas e artigos científicos que se encontravam disponíveis nas bases científicas Scielo e Google Acadêmico, utilizando como descritor a frase “método de aprendizagem baseado em problemas”. A partir desta revisão bibliográfica foi possível concluir que discentes, quando submetidos ao MABP, desenvolvem autonomia e independência durante a construção do seu próprio conhecimento, características que favorecem os estudantes na busca do conhecimento, consolidação de conceitos éticos, fundamentais e específicos em diferentes cursos da área da saúde, além de promover a interação social e fortalecer o processo de humanização durante a formação dos estudantes e profissionais da saúde.
